- Open Plan and tap Plan my night
- Add a crew budget, which is optional
- Add your crew by name in Your crew
During the night
Record costs while they're fresh. Memory gets worse as the night goes on.
- Open Budget and split from your plan
- Tap Add expense
- Enter what it was for and the amount
- Choose who paid and switch on everyone who shared it
- Tap Save
Settle up
Settle up lists who pays whom. It pairs the people who are owed with the people who owe, so there are as few payments as possible. Tap Share the split to send it to the crew as text.
Keep it fair
A few habits avoid arguments the next day.
- Split a taxi only between the people in it
- Record entry fees per person, not per crew
- Settle within a day while everyone remembers
Questions about splitting costs
Does AfterHours move money?
No. It suggests who pays whom. Nobody's payment details go into the app.
What happens to leftover cents?
Every cent is allocated. People earlier in your crew list cover any cent that doesn't divide evenly.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Plans, crews and expenses stay on your phone and work without signal or an account.
